Not too long ago, Vivo unveiled its Vivo T-series of smartphones in China. The Vivo T series, so far, includes two devices – Vivo T1 and Vivo T1x – with more to follow soon. As of now, the Vivo T series has been kept exclusive to China, but this is soon going to change as 91mobiles has exclusively learned from industry sources that Vivo will bring the series to India. The Vivo T series will reportedly replace the brand’s existing Vivo Y series of smartphones in the country.
Vivo T series coming soon to India
As per our source, Vivo will launch its first Vivo T-series smartphone in India sometime in Q1 2022. Our source did not explicitly tell us as to whether the brand would launch the Vivo T1 and the Vivo T1x in India or whether it will be a new device. Anyhow, we can certainly expect things to begin in the next quarter. Additionally, there’s a possibility that the brand might replace its existing Vivo Y series with the new Vivo T series in the country. Judging by the current devices in the lineup, we can expect Vivo to start launching 5G handsets in the mid-range segment under the Vivo T family.
