Vivo has officially started teasing the launch of its T-series smartphone in India. The upcoming offering is confirmed to be the Vivo T4x 5G. The phone’s chipset and launch timeline were leaked recently. It will be arriving as the successor to the Vivo T3x 5G that debuted in April last year. The teaser shared on the brand’s official X handle also reveals some key information on the T4x 5G. 

Vivo T4x 5G India launch teased

  • The Vivo T4x 5G is teased to be equipped with a large battery. 
  • The exact capacity is not revealed but a disclaimer at the bottom of the image reads ‘on basis of 6,500mAh as per products launched in the price segment under Rs 15K till February 20‘. 
  • This gives an indication that the device may pack a battery cell larger than 6,000mAh and launch at a starting price tag of Rs 15,000. To recall, the T3x 5G is backed by a 6,000mAh unit. The Vivo T3x 5G debuted at a starting price tag of Rs 13,499. 
  • The smartphone will also come with AI features. 
  • The teaser also confirms that the T4x 5G will be available from Flipkart, Vivo’s official site, and stores near you. 
  • Flipkart will be revealing more details on its microsite about the device in the coming days. 

Vivo T4x: what we know so far

  • As per the recent leaks, the Vivo T4x 5G is expected to launch in March but the exact date remains unknown.
  • It is tipped to be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 SoC with AnTuTu score of 7,28,000 points. The T3x 5G has a Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chipset.
  • Another report states that the upcoming offering will indeed be backed by a 6,500mAh battery which is an upgrade compared to its predecessor.
  • The device is rumoured to come with Dynamic Light near the camera island for notifications that is also found on the Vivo Y58.
  • The Vivo T4x 5G is said to be available in Pronto Purple and Marine Blue colour options.
