After announcing it earlier this month, Vivo has finally launched the V15 smartphone, a toned-down variant of the V15 Pro (review), in India. The highlight of the Vivo V15 is the pop-up selfie camera, like that of its sibling, which helps it achieve a screen-to-body ratio of over 90 percent. Other key features of the smartphone include a 6.53-inch full-HD+ Ultra FullView display with 19.5:9 aspect ratio, Helio P70 SoC, and a beefy battery. The Vivo V15 smartphone will be available both online and offline in the country.

The Vivo V15 price in India is Rs 23,990 and will be available in Royal Blue, Black and Red colours starting April 1st. The handset will be available to pre-order from Vivo website, Amazon, Flipkart and offline stores starting March 25th. As a part of launch offers, the brand is offering one-time screen replacement within six months of purchase, no-cost EMIs up to 15 months, and extra Rs 3,000 off on an upgrade for Vivo smartphones. Those who purchase the handset on no-cost EMI using Bajaj FinServ will get exchange buyback value of up to Rs 10,000. SBI customers will get cashback of 5 percent on debit and credit card user as well as EMI transactions. Jio customers will get benefits worth Rs 10,000 on the Vivo V15, with up to 3.3TB complimentary data.

The Vivo V15 sports a 6.53-inch 19.5:9 FHD+ Ultra FullView display with 91.64 percent screen-to-body ratio and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. it is powered by the MediaTek Helio P70 octa-core processor with 900MHz ARM Mali-G72 MP3 GPU, 6GB RAM and 64GB internal storage that is expandable up to 256GB. The phone runs on FunTouch OS 9 based on Android 9.0 Pie.

In terms of optics, the V15 packs a triple rear camera setup with a 12MP primary sensor with an f/1.78 sensor, an 8MP secondary shooter with f/2.2, and a 5MP f/2.4 third shooter. There is a 32MP pop-up selfie camera with Samsung ISOCELL GD1 sensor and f/2.0 aperture. It packs a regular rear-mounted fingerprint sensor, unlike the in-display sensor found on the Pro model. There is a 4,000mAh battery on board with dual-engine fast-charging support. It also has face unlock tech, 3.5mm audio jack, and connectivity options such as 4G LTE, dual SIM slots, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth 4.2, and GPS/GLONASS.
