Vivo launched its newest V series smartphones – V15 Pro (review) and V15 (first impression) – earlier this year in India. Recently, 91mobiles exclusively reported that the V15 Pro is all set to get a new 8GB variant in India sometime during this month to take on the upcoming OnePlus 7 series. This comes the same day the company announced a price cut for the 6GB + 128GB variant of the handset. Now, a day ahead of the official launch of OnePlus flagship, the smartphone maker has gone ahead and launched the new variant along with a new colour of the Vivo V15.

The Vivo V15 Pro 8GB RAM variant comes with 128GB storage, and other specifications remaining the same as the original model. The smartphone features a 6.39-inch Super AMOLED display with full-HD+ screen resolution. The display also bears 19.5:9 aspect ratio and an in-display fingerprint scanner. Driving the performance is Qualcomm’s mid-range Snapdragon 675 chipset. In the imaging department, the phone features 48-megapixel (f/1.8) + 8-megapixel (f/2.4) + 5-megapixel (f/2.4) setup on the rear and 32-megapixel selfie shooter. A 3,700mAh battery completes the spec sheet of the smartphone.
Coming to the new colour option of the Vivo V15, the Aqua Blue hue has royal blue and sea green colours transitioning from top to bottom. The specification sheet of the handset remains the same as the regular V15. To jog your memory, the V15 comes with a 6.53-inch 19.5:9 full-HD+ Ultra FullView display offering 91.64 percent screen-to-body ratio and is powered by the MediaTek Helio P70 octa-core processor accompanied by 6GB RAM and 64GB internal storage. On the imaging front, the phone flaunts a triple camera module featuring a 12MP primary sensor with an f/1.78 sensor, an 8MP secondary shooter with f/2.2, and a 5MP f/2.4 third shooter. Other features include 32MP pop-up selfie camera with Samsung ISOCELL GD1 sensor, rear-mounted fingerprint sensor, and 4,000mAh battery.
