Vivo today launched three new smartphones in China. The lineup includes the Vivo S17, S17t, and S17 Pro. The Vivo S17 series comes with 120Hz displays, triple rear cameras, and up to 80W fast charging support. Vivo hasn’t announced yet when and if it will launch the S17 smartphones in other markets including India.

Vivo S17, S17t, and S17 Pro price, availability

Vivo S17 is the most affordable in the series and it has a starting price of CNY 2499 (Rs 29,100 approx) for the base 8GB RAM + 256GB storage model. It also comes with 12GB RAM + 256GB storage, and this variant is priced at CNY 2,799 (Rs 32,600 approx). In terms of colour options, the Vivo S17 comes in Mountain Sea Green, Pink and Black.

As for the Vivo S17t, this smartphone has only one variant with 12GB RAM and 512GB storage, and it’s priced at CNY 2,999 (Rs 34,900 approx).

Vivo S17 Pro is the most expensive in the list, and it comes in three variants of 8GB + 256GB, 12GB + 256GB and 12GB + 512GB priced at CNY 3,099 (Rs 36,100 approx), CNY 3,299 (Rs 38,400 approx) and CNY 3,499 (Rs 40,800 approx), respectively. The Vivo S17 Pro also has three colour options of Mountain Sea Green, White and Black.

All three smartphones are going on sale in China from June 18th onwards.

Vivo S17, S17t and S17 Pro specifications

Display: The Vivo S17, S17t and S17 Pro all feature the same 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate.
Processor: The processor is one key difference between the three phones. The Vivo S17 is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G+ processor while the Vivo S17t comes with the MediaTek Dimensity 8050 processor. On the other hand, the Vivo S17 Pro runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 8200 processor.
RAM and storage: The Vivo S17 and Vivo S17 Pro come in two variants of 8GB + 256GB and 12GB + 512GB. It’s the Vivo S17t that has only one option which is 12GB RAM and 512GB storage.
Battery: All three phones pack a 4,600mAh battery with support for 80W fast charging.
Cameras: The Vivo S17 and S17t offer the same camera setup which is a 50MP primary sensor and 8MP ultra-wide lens at the rear. With the Vivo S17 Pro you get an additional 12MP telephoto lens. For selfies, all three phones come with the same 50MP front camera.
Connectivity: In terms of connectivity you get dual-SIM support, 4G VoLTE, 5G, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, and a USB Type-C port on the Vivo S17 series.
Software: On the software front, the Vivo S17 series runs the custom OriginOS 3.0 based on Android 13 out-of-the-box.

The Vivo S17 series offer a similar set of specifications with the key differences lying in the processor and camera department. The three phones also feature the same design with a slim form factor, curved display and a punch-hole front camera.
