Vivo smartphone with V1730GA model number spotted on TENAA with specs and images

“The Vivo V1730GA smartphone is likely to be an affordable smartphone”

Vivo recently refreshed its mid-range lineup with the Vivo Y17 smartphone in India. Now, the vendor seems to be gearing up for another smartphone launch, possibly in the affordable segment. Ahead of the unveiling, an unannounced Vivo handset with the model number V1730GA has been approved by the Chinese certification authority TENAA. Notably, the listing on the agency’s website has revealed the images and features of the smartphone.

As per the TENAA listing, the Vivo V1730GA might come with a notch above the screen, which will be home to the selfie camera and the earpiece. The back panel of the phone seems to feature a dual camera setup at the top-left corner, with an LED flash below it. The fingerprint sensor is at the center of the device so is the ‘Vivo’ branding.

Talking about its specifications, the Vivo V1730GA’s certification suggests that the phone could pack a 6.26-inch full-HD display with an aspect ratio of 19:9 aspect ratio. The handset is expected to be driven by an octa-core processor of unknown make clocked at 1.95 GHz. The device will have 4GB and 6GB of RAM variants, and come with 64GB of storage, which should be further expandable using a microSD card. On the camera front, the device might come with a 16-megapixel shooter on the front and a combination of 13-megapixel sensor + 2-megapixel secondary shooter on the back. The phone is said to come pre-loaded with Android 9 Pie-based FunTouchOS to take care of the software side of things. Lastly, a 3,180mAh battery should round off the Vivo V1730GA’s specs sheet.

That’s all we can divulge about the upcoming Vivo phone at the moment. Also, it’s not clear when exactly Vivo is planning to launch the phone.
