Vivo V1950A had received TENAA certification in China recently which revealed key specifications and images of the handset. It is expected to be a successor or variant of the Vivo NEX 3 5G Edition with Snapdragon 865 SoC. The smartphone could have triple rear cameras, a 6.89-inch full HD+ AMOLED display and a 4,250mAh battery with fast-charging support. Now, the Vivo V1950A model has bagged Wi-Fi certification with support for 2.4GHz and 5GHz dual-band Wi-Fi and Android 10 OS. This suggests we might be inching closer to the launch. There are rumours that Vivo might unveil the handset at the MWC 2020 next-month.
Furthermore, the Vivo V1950A is expected to come in two models: 8GB + 128GB and 8GB + 256GB storage. It measures 167.44 x 76.14 x 9.4mm, weighs 219.5 grams, and will be available in Red colour. As for the cameras, the handset packs triple rear cameras consisting of a 64MP primary sensor, a 13MP secondary sensor and a 13MP third lens, a similar setup as the NEX 3 5G. On the front, the TENAA listing suggests that it’ll have a 16MP unit for selfies and video chats. There is a 4,250mAh battery with fast-charging support, as revealed by the 3C listing. Connectivity options include Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS and likely NFC as well.
Separately, Vivo V1955A is said to be in the works as it bagged China’s 3C certification. It could be the much-rumoured iQOO 3 gaming phone. The listing claimed the handset would have 5G connectivity and is accompanied by the V550L0A0-CN charger that supports up to 55W fast charging. The handset is expected to ship with the mighty Snapdragon 865 SoC and dual-mode 5G. We should know more information about both the phones in the next few weeks.
