Vivo V1963A seems to be nearing its launch as it has now been spotted on the Chinese certification site TENAA. It’s the second public appearance of the phone, followed by Geekbench listing from last month. We still don’t know its name yet, but here are some of the key specifications the handset would pack. The Vivo V1963A will tout a Snapdragon 765G SoC, which means this could be an affordable 5G smartphone. The handset is also tipped to feature a quad camera setup. The Vivo V1963A could be part of the S or Z series. It could also be a new iQOO phone as the model number looks similar the Vivo V1936AL that was spotted on TENAA in November and was speculated to be called the iQOO Neo.
Vivo V1963A TENAA specifications
Per the TENAA listing, the Vivo V1963A will come with 5G connectivity and 2.4GHz octa-core chipset, expected to be Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G. The chipset is said to be paired with 6GB/ 8GB of RAM and 64GB/ 128GB/ 256GB internal storage. The handset will sport a 6.57-inch TFT display with Full-HD+ (1,080 x 2,080p) resolution. In the camera department, the Vivo V1963A could pack as many as five cameras – four at the back and one up front for selfies and video calling. The quad-rear camera setup will feature 48MP primary sensor, 8MP secondary unit, and a couple of 2MP sensors. The front camera resolution remains unknown at the moment.
The handset is said to be driven by an impressive 4,880mAh battery, while Android 10 will take care of the software side of things. The phone will, of course, have Vivo’s custom Android skin FunTouch OS running atop. The mysterious Vivo V1963A will come with standard connectivity options, gravity sensor, distance sensor, light sensor, fingerprint recognition, and fast charging. Lastly, it may measure 163.99 x 75.71 x 9.16mm and weigh 201 grams, as per the TENAA listing.
That’s all we know so far. The Vivo V1963A could be a mid-range offering considering it will be powered by the Snapdragon 765G SoC. While it’s not confirmed yet, the handset could be part of of Vivo’s S-series or Z-series lineup. Now that the phone is certified, we expect Vivo to soon launch the Vivo V1963A, revealing its price and availability, in China.
