Vivo has launched a new V20-series smartphone called Vivo V20 SE in Malaysia. The handset joins the Vivo V20 and V20 Pro, which were recently launched in Thailand. The Vivo V20 SE ships with a waterdrop notch display and the Snapdragon 665 SoC as opposed to the Snapdragon 700-series chipsets on its siblings. Around the back, the phone sports a 3D design and triple rear cameras in a rectangular module – headlined by a 48MP primary sensor. Other key highlights of Vivo V20 SE include a thin 7.83mm build, an in-display fingerprint scanner, 33W fast charging support, and a 32MP selfie camera.

Vivo V20 SE price and availability
Vivo V20 SE price is set at RM 1,199 (~Rs 22,000). The handset will be available for sale in Malaysia in black and white colours soon. No word yet on whether this model will be coming to India, although we exclusively revealed that the Vivo V20 series will be launching in India in October.

As for the specifications, the Vivo V20 SE runs Android 10 with Funtouch OS 11 on top out of the box. The handset sports a 6.44-inch full-HD+ (1,080 x 2,400 pixels) AMOLED display with a 20:9 aspect ratio. At its core lies Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 SoC paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB storage. The phone comes with a 4,100mAh battery and supports 33W fast charging tech. There is an in-display fingerprint scanner for security.
The triple rear cameras of Vivo V20 SE comprise a 48MP primary sensor with an f/1.8 lens, an 8MP secondary sensor with an f/2.2 wide-angle lens, and a 2MP tertiary sensor with an f/2.4 lens for a bokeh effect. For selfies and video calling, there is a 32MP snapper on the front with an f/2.0 lens. The cameras are backed by Portrait Mode, Super Night Selfie, Selfie Fill Light, 4K video, and a Video Face Beauty for the front-facing camera. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, FM radio, and a USB Type-C port. The V20 SE measures 161.00mm x 74.08mm x7.83mm and weighs 171 grams.
