Vivo India launched the V25 Pro (review) last month, which we lauded for being very well designed and with nearly top-notch performance cred. However, while the standard V25 was also expected to be launched, the latter was not to be. On August 25th, Vivo teased the launch of the V25 5G in Thailand, and now, a report on the matter by MySmartPrice has claimed that the smartphone is set to be launched in India within the next two weeks.

Vivo V25 5G price in India and specs (tipped)

The report cites anonymous sources in the distributor and retail chain to state that the Vivo V25 5G is set to be launched in India in the second or third week of September. This suggests that the smartphone could be launched as early as in the coming week itself. If not, then we would likely at least see teaser posts about it from Vivo India, prior to it being unveiled.

In terms of specifications and features, the Vivo V25 5G is tipped to feature two colour variants — black and blue. The latter, however, would be combined with Fluorite AG glass technology, which would see the back panel offer a shifting colour design. This could be one of the key aspects of the new smartphone, which is tipped to compete with the likes of the Nothing Phone (1), the POCO F4 5G, and others.

Apart from this, the key specifications of the upcoming Vivo V25 5G include the MediaTek Dimensity 900 SoC, up to 12GB RAM and 256GB storage, a 6.44-inch full HD+ AMOLED display with 90Hz refresh rate, 64MP triple rear camera, 50MP front camera, and a 4,500mAh battery with 44W fast charging support. The device may measure 7.79mm in thickness, and weigh 186 grams.

The report further adds that the Vivo V25 5G will have 8GB RAM and 128GB storage in its base variant, which is tipped to be priced at less than Rs 30,000 in India.
