Vivo is all set to launch the Vivo V27 Series in India soon. The series will include three models globally- Vivo V27, Vivo V27 Pro, and Vivo V27e, but Vivo is only rumoured to be launching the V27 and V27 Pro in India. The Vivo V27 Series will serve as the successor to the Vivo V25 Series that came out last year, and the company has started teasing the features of the upcoming devices. The Vivo V27 Series is expected to be a rebranded version of the Vivo S16 series that debuted in China late last year.

Vivo V27 series launch date, price in India

The Vivo V27 series is set to launch globally, including in India, on March 1st at 12 noon IST. The launch event will likely be live-streamed on the company’s social handles including on Vivo’s official YouTube channel.

Moving to the pricing, the Vivo V27 Pro is rumoured to launch at a starting price of Rs 40,000 while the regular Vivo V27 is tipped to cost around Rs 35,000.

Vivo V27, Vivo V27 Pro specifications

The upcoming Vivo V27 series smartphones will sport a curved AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, based on the teasers and leaks that have surfaced so far. Aside from that, both of these devices’ displays are said to support HDR10+ and Full HD+ resolution. The Pro model is rumoured to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8200 processor, while the base V27 model may be powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 7200 SoC that was recently announced.

Both the Vivo 27 and V27 Pro are anticipated to have the exact same camera configuration. They are teased with a triple camera setup that includes a 50MP Sony IMX766v main sensor and is supported by a macro and ultra-wide angle lens. Also anticipated for the V27 series is an updated 50MP front-facing camera for selfies and video calls.

The colour-changing back panel that the V25 introduced to the lineup last year will probably remain on the current models. Both of these devices are expected to run the Android 13 operating system out of the box and feature 8GB/12GB RAM and 128GB/256GB of storage. Talking about the connectivity and security features, both handsets are said to include support for 5G, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, and also come with an in-display fingerprint sensor, stereo speakers, and 66W fast charging brick.
