The Chinese handset maker, Vivo launched its first 18:9 smartphone – Vivo V7+ (review) back in September. Initially, the handset maker launched the device in two hues of Matte Black and Champagne Gold. Now, it has gone ahead and added another colour variant of the device in the form of Energetic Blue.
Apart from the colour, the device is the same as regular variant. The smartphone has been equipped with a 5.99-inch FullView display featuring a resolution of 1,440 x 720 pixels. The screen to body ratio of the device is 84.4 percent. The performance of the device is driven by Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 SoC mated to 4GB RAM and Adreno 506 GPU. The phone comes with 64GB of storage, which can be further increased by up to 256GB by inserting a microSD card.
For imaging, there is a 16-megapixel snapper with phase detection autofocus and an LED flash on rear panel, and a 24-megapixel camera on the front with Moonlight selfie flash. Vivo has also added a software enhancement which lets the rear camera produce 64MP ultra HD images by merging four frames into one. There is a fingerprint scanner mounted on the rear panel of this all metal unibody device. On the software side of things, the handset boots FunTouch OS 3.0 based on Android Nougat. For power requirements, there is a 3,225mAh battery.

The new colour variant of the smartphone will go on pre-order exclusively on Amazon India starting November 10th. Thereafter, the device can be picked up for Rs 21,990 when it goes on sale starting November 15th.
