Vivo V70 Lite launches in UAE with 6,500mAh battery, may come as V70e to India

Highlights

Vivo has launched the V70 Lite 5G in the UAE market, rather quietly infact. The phone brings a massive 6,500mAh battery, 90W fast charging and a large 6.77-inch AMOLED display to the mid-range segment, with pricing starting at AED 1,099 (around Rs 28,500). On paper, the device seems to bring modest upgrades over its predecessor, the V60 Lite and looks to be more of an iterational upgrade. Let’s look at it in a little more detail below.

Vivo V70 Lite: features, specifications

The V70 Lite’s biggest selling point is its 6,500mAh battery and the phone supports 90W FlashCharge. That remains consistent with its predecessor, the Vivo V60 Lite.

The phone features a 6.77-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10+ support and a peak brightness of 3,000 nits. It has a 94.20 percent screen-to-body ratio and Low Blue Light certification, making it suitable for extended gaming and streaming sessions.

Under the hood, the V70 Lite uses a MediaTek Dimensity 7400-Turbo processor built on a 4nm process. The processor looks to be a slightly overclocked version of the Dimensity 7360 found in its predecessor. The phone comes with up to 12GB RAM and up to 512GB UFS 3.1 storage.

For cameras, the V70 Lite has a 50MP Sony IMX882 main sensor with AI Master Aura Light Portrait features, an 8MP 120° ultrawide lens and a 32MP front-facing selfie camera. Both front and rear cameras support 4K video recording at 30fps.

The phone measures just 7.59mm thick and weighs 194g, available in Sunlit Gold and Elegant Black colourways. It includes IP65 dust and water resistance, dual stereo speakers, an in-display fingerprint sensor and NFC support and runs Android 16-based OriginOS 6 out of the box.
