Vivo V9 Pro with 6.3-inch FHD+ display, 6GB RAM, and Snapdragon 660 SoC launched in India for Rs 19,990

Just yesterday, Vivo launched the V11 smartphone in the Indian market. Today, the company has released yet another V series offering called the Vivo V9 Pro in the country. Just like the Vivo V11, the Vivo V9 Pro has also arrived as a mid-ranger with a notch-bearing display. The latest offering from the brand boots Funtouch OS 4.0 based on Android 8.1 Oreo, and gets a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor and a dual primary camera setup at the rear.


Coming to the features, the Vivo V9 pro sports a 6.3-inch full HD+ IPS display bearing an aspect ratio of 19:9. The smartphone is powered by Qualcomm’s octa-core Snapdragon 660 processor, which based on the 14nm fabrication process. The handset is equipped with 6GB of RAM and 64GB of native storage, which can be further increased up to 256GB by inserting a microSD card.

For imaging, the Vivo V9 Pro sports a 13-megapixel primary shooter at the rear with an aperture of f/2.2, accompanied by a 2-megapixel secondary snapper. For selfies and video calling, there’s a 16-megapixel secondary camera on the front. In terms of the connectivity, you get 4G LTE, dual-SIM support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and A-GPS. A 3,260mAh battery completes the list of the specifications.

As for the pricing, the Vivo V9 Pro has been priced at Rs 19,990. However, as part of Amazon’s Great India Festival Sale, the phone will be available at a discounted price of Rs 17,990. The sale will kick off from October 10th.
