The Vivo Watch 2, the successor to the Vivo Watch, has been announced alongside the Vivo S12 series, which was launched yesterday in China. It has quite significant improvements over its predecessor. For starters, the display is now almost bezel-less and Vivo finally added e-sim support. The Vivo Watch 2 also comes with 2GB of inbuilt storage, where its users can store songs to listen to offline music. The Vivo Watch 2 will be available in China from December 29 for RMB 1,299 (about Rs 15,400). Silver Wing, Breaking Dawn, and Force Black are the three colour options, provided by the brand. There is no official announcement on when the wearable device would be released globally or in India.

The Vivo Watch 2 comes with a 46mm circular dial with a 1.43-inch OLED display. It has an almost bezel-less design with stainless steel frame and body and also contains two physical buttons on the right side. Prospective customers will be able to swap out the watch’s silicone bands, with the choice of their own. The watch is water-resistant up to 5ATM, which means you can use it while swimming or while taking a shower.

It also comes with SOS emergency mode that sends out notifications to the fire department, police department, or hospital even if your phone isn’t associated with the smartwatch. With the e-SIM turned off, Vivo claims it has a battery life of up to 14 days and up to 7 days with the e-SIM feature switched on. The Vivo Watch 2 also supports Himalaya FM and Netease Cloud Music, allowing users to listen to music without having to connect to a smartphone. There is also 2GB of internal storage inside the watch, for storing music. There are also 47 built-in sports modes, which include various cardio activities such as running, cycling, swimming, and more.

The Vivo Watch 2 weighs in at about 47gm and has a non-removable battery of 510mAh. It also features an inbuilt GPS for tracking outdoor activities. Other notable features of the smartwatch include a smart calendar, smart travel service, NFC, Jovi voice assistant, and smart home control.
