After several speculations and rumours, Chinese smartphone maker Vivo has confirmed that its upcoming products – the Vivo X Fold 2, the Vivo X Flip, and the Vivo Pad 2 – will launch in China on April 20th. However, there is no news about the India or global launch dates yet. The launch poster mentions that the upcoming Vivo products will be unveiled on April 20th at 7 PM local time in China, which is 4.30PM IST. This comes after several tipsters shared similar details about the upcoming launch.

Vivo X Fold 2, Vivo X Flip, Vivo Pad 2 specifications (expected)

It is expected that the Vivo Fold 2 will include an 8-inch E6 AMOLED foldable display inside that will have a 120Hz refresh rate at a 2K screen resolution. It might sport a triple rear camera setup with a 50MP primary sensor and two 12MP sensors. The premium foldable phone might be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset paired with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. It is tipped to pack a 4,800mAh battery with 120W fast charging support.

The clamshell-designed Vivo X Flip will likely offer a 6.8-inch FHD+ main display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a secondary display with an HD resolution. The upcoming phone, which will compete with Samsung and OPPO’s recently launched flip phones, will house a 50MP main sensor and a 12MP ultra-wide camera by Zeiss. It will most likely be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset paired with up to 12GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. The upcoming Vivo X Fold 2 will support 44W fast charging and flaunt a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.

The upcoming Vivo Pad 2 will likely come with a 12.1-inch LCD with a 2.8K display and up to a 144Hz refresh rate. It will sport a dual rear camera setup consisting of a 13MP main camera and a 2MP macro sensor. And an 8MP selfie sensor is expected to be equipped on the front. It would be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9000 chipset paired with 8GB and 12GB of RAM and 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB of internal storage. The Vivo Pad 2 is expected to pack a 10,000mAh battery with 44W fast charging support.
