The brand has finally started teasing the launch of the Vivo X Fold 2 smartphone in China. Vivo yesterday confirmed the arrival of the Vivo X Fold 2 via an official Weibo post, which does not tell us much about the specifications of the device, but at least reveals the final moniker and the potential launch timeline for its launch. As seen in the images above, Vivo has started talking about the upcoming Vivo X Fold 2 smartphone. The Weibo post (machine translated) reveals the moniker of the device and also confirms that we would either get to see the device launch in April, or there will at least be some sort of announcement next month. Furthermore, the post suggests that the Vivo X Fold 2 will feature an all-round set of flagship specifications. What this set will comprise is anyone’s guess as of now, but we can at least expect the brand’s next-gen foldable to be powered by the latest in the market, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset. Plus, both displays could likely be AMOLED panels with at least 120Hz refresh rate.
Moving on, the brand claims that the Vivo X Fold 2 will feature the most powerful folding screen made by Vivo so far. In terms of design, the device is expected to feature a light and thin design.

The Vivo X Fold 2 is expected to be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, which could be paired with 12GB RAM and 256GB internal storage. The device will likely boot the latest Android 13-based OriginOS 13 skin out of the box in China. Speaking of the cameras of the device, the Vivo X Fold 2 is tipped to offer a 50MP main camera, a 12MP ultra-wide angle camera, and a 12MP telephoto camera. Lastly, the Vivo X Fold 2 could feature a 4,800mAh battery with support for 120W fast charging over a USB Type-C charging port.
