The Vivo X200 series has been making a lot of noise lately, with the launch expected to happen around the third week of October in China. Recently, the Vivo X200 Pro specifications have been tipped. Now, in a new revelation, the alleged render of an upcoming phone has surfaced online and this reveals the front design. While the marketing name is not mentioned, it is believed to be the Vivo X200.
Vivo X200 design revealed
- DigitalChatStation, who has shared the render, says the design is based on a real phone.
- The handset can be seen sporting flat edges on the front, with symmetrical bezels for a full-screen experience. We also see a centre-positioned punch-hole cutout for the selfie snapper.
- The volume rocker and power button are present on the right edge.
- While the image doesn’t show off the rear design, an earlier leaked Vivo X200 alleged live image showed a large circular camera module to house at least triple camera sensors. The LED flash module is present outside the circular ring.
- Interestingly, the front design of the phone revealed in the new render image matches the design in the live image.
- The live image also showed the Vivo X200 will have a boxy chassis with rounded corners. The back panel appears to have a glass finish.
- The speaker vents, SIM tray section, and USB Type-C port are at the bottom.
Vivo X200: what do we know so far?
Vivo X200 is rumoured to come with a 6.3-inch OLED LTPO 1.5K display with a 120Hz refresh rate. For comparison, the Vivo X100 has a 6.78-inch FHD+ display. The handset could be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9400 chipset, which will replace the Dimensity 9300 on the Vivo X100.
The phone could house an optical in-display fingerprint sensor for security. It may house a 5,600mAh battery with 90W fast charging and there could be wireless charging support. The Vivo X100 houses a 5000mAh cell with 120W fast charging. This means we are getting an upgrade in the battery department and a downgrade in the fast charging speed.
The Vivo X200 could feature a 50MP main camera with OIS, an ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 70mm periscope telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom. There are chances the Vivo X200 could run on Android 15-based OriginOS custom skin on top. We should learn more details about the phone in the days to come.
