The Vivo X21 (review), which was launched earlier this year is considered to be a trailblazer as the industry’s first smartphone with in-display fingerprint sensor. There have been talks of its successor – the Vivo X21s, which was recently spotted in a Weibo leak. The smartphone has now been allegedly spotted in a number of live images, revealing few key details.
Vivo X21s leaked live images
The latest series of leaked images gives us a glimpse into the retail box and the device itself. First thing that come to notice is that just like its predecessor, the upcoming smartphone will also come flaunting an in-display fingerprint scanner. In one of the images we can see the waterdrop notch and a slim chin, whereas a second image shows the black/blue gradient back panel with dual camera module. One of the images also reveals the About Phone section of the smartphone, confirming the model number to be V1814A and Android version to be Android 8.1 Oreo. The image also reveals that the upcoming smartphone will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 SoC, with dedicated AIE chip.
Notably, all the details corroborate with the leaks we have seen earlier.
Vivo X21s specifications, features
According to the previous leaks, the Vivo X21s is expected to come with a 6.41-inch OLED display, which is big compared to 6.28-inch display on its sibling. The display is speculated to come with full HD+ resolution (2,340 x 1,080 pixels). The Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 SoC is rumoured to be backed by 6GB of RAM and 128GB expandable storage. In the imaging department, the smartphone is rumoured to deploy a 12MP + 5MP setup with LED flash on the back and a powerful 25MP selfie shooter on the front. A 3,330mAh battery with 18W fast-charging is expected to power the whole package.
