Vivo X30 is set to launch in China on December 12th. The X30-series has been in the news for a while, and recent teasers have revealed the camera design as well as confirming 60x zoom support. Now, Vivo has revealed via a new teaser poster that the X30-series will be launching in China on December 16th. The Vivo X30 confirmed to be powered by the Samsung’s Exynos 980 SoC and will have support for SA and NSA 5G modes as well. Vivo says that it jointly design the dual-mode 5G AI chipset with Samsung and claims to have optimisations to ensure optimal 5G experience.
Vivo X30 5G specifications
Vivo X30 and X30 Pro are tipped to sport a 6.5-inch and 6.89-inch full HD+ displays, respectively and 90Hz refresh rate. They will be powered by Samsung’s Exynos 980 SoC with integrated 5G modem. The handset’s 3C listing confirmed it will have support for 33W fast-charging. The Vivo X30 is expected to pack 8GB RAM coupled with 128GB or 256GB internal storage. On the other hand, the Vivo X30 Pro could have 12GB RAM and 256GB storage.
Vivo X30’s quad rear camera setup includes a periscope lens with 60x superzoom and an LED flash. The Vivo X30 series is also tipped to be first pair of phones from the brand to come pre-loaded with the all-new JoviOS, replacing the Funtouch OS custom skin.
In terms of optics, the Vivo X30 camera is rumoured to include a 64MP primary sensor, an 8MP secondary shooter, a 13MP lens and a 2MP unit. The Pro model could house a 60MP primary sensor, a 13MP lens, 13MP sensor and a 12MP unit. Both phones are expected to come with 32-megapixel selfie snappers. A 4,500mAh battery is said to fuel the handset. As for the pricing, the Vivo X30 and X30 Pro could start at RMB 3,198 (around Rs 32,600) and RMB 3,998 (around Rs 40,800), respectively.
