Vivo X30 and X30 Pro smartphones have been officially unveiled in China, as expected. These come with a punch-hole design at the front to accommodate the selfie snapper, and Vivo claims that it is the smallest punch-hole at just 2.98mm. The Vivo X30 Pro variant packs a quad-camera setup at the back with a 13MP periscope lens that offers 5x optical and a native focal length of 135mm. Both the phones come with in-display fingerprint sensor and 5G connectivity. The Vivo X30 and X30 Pro also feature the ‘Multi-Turbo 2.5’ mode, which can detect if the Wi-Fi speed is too slow and then switch to 4G/ 5G network.

The Vivo X30 5G price is set at RMB 3,298 (around Rs 33,500) for the 8GB + 128GB model and RMB 3,598 (around Rs 36,500) for the 8GB + 256GB model. On the other hand, the price of the Vivo X30 Pro 5G is RMB 3,998 (around Rs 40,600) for the 8GB + 128GB variant and RMB 4,298 (around Rs 43,600) for the bigger 8GB + 256GB model. The phones are available in Black, White, and Pink colour options. While the Vivo X30 5G will be on sale from December 28th, the X30 Pro 5G will hit stores on December 24th. Pre-orders are already live and Vivo is offering a free Bluetooth headset with the handset.

Vivo X30 and X30 Pro flaunt a 6.44-inch full-HD+ Super AMOLED display with 2,400 x 1,080 pixels resolution. They are powered by an octa-core Exynos 980 SoC with integrated 5G modem, 8GB RAM, and either 128GB/256GB internal storage. Both the phones run on Android 9.0 Pie with FuntouchOS 10 custom skin on top. As for the optics, the Vivo X30 5G packs a triple rear camera setup consisting of a 64-megapixel primary sensor (f/1.8), an 8-megapixel wide-angle lens, and a 32-megapixel portrait sensor. On the other hand, the Vivo X30 Pro 5G rocks a quad-camera setup with an additional 13-megapixel periscope lens (f/3.0) with 5x optical zoom support, and a native focal length of 135mm.

The cameras are backed by the features like 50mm portrait mode, super-night scene, slow motion, time-lapse, HDR, panorama, dynamic photos, AI beauty mode, and more. They can record 4K video as well. Both the phones have a 32-megapixel selfie snapper (f/2.45) for selfies and video chats. The Vivo X30 5G and X30 Pro 5G pack a massive 4,350mAh battery with 33W flash charge fast-charging support. Connectivity features include 5G, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 3.5mm audio jack and USB Type-C port. Both the phones measure 158.45 x 74.10 x 8.80mm and weigh 196.5 grams.
