Vivo X300 FE silently listed in Russia, full specifications revealed

The device sits in the compact flagship category, which has been gaining attention again as buyers look for powerful phones that are easier to use with one hand. The X300 FE comes with a 6.31-inch flat LTPO AMOLED display with a resolution of 2640 x 1216 pixels. The screen supports an adaptive refresh rate between 1Hz and 120Hz and includes an anti-glare coating meant to reduce reflections in bright conditions. Vivo also claims peak brightness of up to 5,000 nits, continuing the trend of super-bright screens that we’ve been seeing on flagships from Realme and Honor.

Inside, the phone runs on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor, built on a 3nm process. That’s a sub-flagship tier processor that we’ve seen on the likes of the OnePlus 15R and the Motorola Signature in India. The processor is paired with 12GB of LPDDR5X Ultra RAM, while storage options include 256GB and 512GB using the UFS 4.1 standard. The phone runs OriginOS 6 based on Android 16. Vivo says the device will receive five major Android upgrades along with seven years of security updates, which would take support through 2033.

Battery capacity is one of the more notable parts. Despite the relatively compact body, the phone packs a 6,500mAh battery. It supports Vivo’s 90W FlashCharge for wired charging and also supports 40W wireless charging. In today’s era of 7,000mAh batteries, having a compact flagship with a cell of that magnitude is a huge plus for the user.

The camera setup is led by a 50MP Sony IMX921 main sensor with an f/1.57 aperture. It is joined by an 8MP ultrawide camera and a 50MP telephoto camera based on the Sony IMX882 sensor with 3x optical zoom. On the front, the phone features a 50MP camera for selfies and video calls.

The X300 FE carries IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance and includes an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner. Connectivity options include 5G, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.0, NFC, USB-C, and support for several satellite navigation systems including NavIC.

In terms of design, the X300 FE measures 150.83 x 71.76 x 7.99 mm and weighs around 190-191 gms depending on the finish. The phone carries the popular pill-shaped camera module that is being seen across phones these from all segments, but in a horizontal orientation this time, different from its predecessor, the Vivo X200 FE. There’s no Aura Ring light and the LED flash is placed between the camera lenses. The white variant comes with a textured back but the other colour options seem regular. The phone uses a glass back and is listed in Moonlight White, Cool Purple, and Graphite Black.

Vivo has not officially announced pricing yet. However, the phone is already appearing at online retailers in Russia. The 12GB + 256GB model is listed at RUB 60,124 (around Rs 71,000), while the 512GB variant costs RUB 64,405 (roughly Rs 76,000). Tipster Abhishek Yadav had earlier suggested a starting price of about Rs 60,000 for India. For context, Vivo’s previous compact flagship in India, the X200 FE, launched in July 2025 starting at Rs 54,999 with a Dimensity 9300+ processor and similar camera hardware. If the expected pricing holds, the X300 FE would sit slightly higher in the lineup while offering a newer chipset and updated connectivity.

If Vivo launches the X300 FE in India around that range, it could appeal to buyers who want flagship performance and camera hardware without moving to a larger phone. A compact display paired with a high-end chip and a large battery is still relatively uncommon in the segment, which may help the device carve out its space once it arrives. The OnePlus 13s, the phone’s closest competitor, is available around the Rs 50,000 mark in India, but the novelty of the X300 FE could appeal to prospective buyers.
