The Vivo X50 Lite smartphone has made its first appearance on certification sites, suggesting Vivo is gearing up to launch the new handset. It will likely be part of a new X50 series as the company has already filed the trademarks for the X50 and the X50 Pro models. The GCF certification for Vivo V1937 shows the handset will be named X50 Lite when it launches in the market. Furthermore, the GCF certification hints that the Vivo X50 Lite could soon be launched globally. As seen in the Wi-Fi Alliance certification website, the Vivo X50 Lite with model number V1937 will run on the latest Android 10 OS out of the box. Furthermore, the certification reveals that the device will run on 2.4GHz and 5GHz frequency bands. Other than these two things, the Wi-Fi Alliance certification does not reveal anything else about the Vivo X50 Lite. Speaking of the GCF certification, though it does not mention anything about the specifications of the device, it confirms the smartphone’s moniker.
For now, this is pretty much all the intel that we have been able to gather about the upcoming Vivo X50 Lite, but we are sure to receive more information on the same in the coming days. In fact, little is known about the X50 and Pro models as well, with their names cropping up in a WIPO listing in October last year. But with the Lite model also getting certified now, we can expect the series to launch sooner rather than later.
