The Vivo X70 series launch date in India has been officially revealed by the company. The flagships were originally launched in China earlier this month. The Vivo X70 series will now make its way to India on September 30th at 12 PM IST, probably through an online-only event. However, the invite doesn’t specify whether the company will be launching all the models or just select models in the series. Considering the brand had launched all three models of the X60 series earlier this year, we can expect the same to be repeated this time as well. The Vivo X70 series ship with a 120Hz AMOLED display, up to 55W fast-charging support, and Android 11 OS out of the box. Vivo X70 and Vivo X70 Pro specifications
Vivo X70 is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 1200 chipset paired with up to 12GB RAM and 512GB storage but the variants that will be available in the country could vary. The Pro model ships with the Exynos 1080 SoC. They run on Android 11-based OriginOS custom skin out of the box and have a 32MP snapper on the front for selfies. The Vivo X70 and X70 Pro pack a 4,400mAh battery and a 4,450mAh battery with 44W fast-charging support. Connectivity options include 5G, 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, and USB Type-C port for charging and data sync.
The Vivo X70 and X70 Pro sport a 6.56-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate display and punch-hole cutout. They have an in-display fingerprint sensor for security. The standard X70 has a triple camera on the back, with a 40MP primary sensor, a 12MP ultra-wide-angle sensor, and a 12MP portrait sensor. The Pro model gets a larger 50MP primary snapper, accompanied by a 12MP ultra-wide-angle lens, a 12MP depth sensor, and an 8MP telephoto sensor.

Vivo X70 Pro Plus has a quad-camera setup on the back comprising of a 50MP primary lens paired with a 12MP depth lens, a 12MP ultra-wide-angle lens and an 8MP telephoto sensor. It has a similar 32MP snapper on the front for selfies and video chats. There is an in-display fingerprint sensor for security. Connectivity features include 5G, 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, and USB Type-C port for charging and data sync. A 4,500mAh battery with 55W fast charging support.
The phone runs on Android 11 based OriginOS out of the box. It sports a 6.78-inch QHD+ Samsung E5 AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate display, punch-hole cutout, and Corning Gorilla Glass. The phone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 Plus SoC paired with Adreno 660 GPU. It packs 12GB RAM and 256GB storage.
