Vivo Y01 is an upcoming Y-series smartphone that the company is planning to launch in Europe. Vivo hasn’t released any official details of the smartphone or announced a launch date yet. Now, the Vivo Y01 specifications, price, and renders have surfaced online ahead of the official release. Looking at the features and specifications, Vivo Y01 will be a budget smartphone. Key features will include a 6.51-inch display, a dual rear camera setup, and a 5,000mAh battery, pretty standard fare for a budget handset these days. That’s reiterated by the leaked price, which suggests the phone will be priced somewhere between EUR100 and EUR200 when it goes on sale in Europe.
Vivo Y01 specifications and design
The folks over at MySmartPrice revealed the design of the Vivo Y01. It comes with a water-drop style notch at the front, and will be available in two colour options. A rectangular camera module is available at the back of the phone. The rear panel also features a textured design and is made of plastic.
In the specs department, the Vivo Y01 comes with a 6.51-inch LCD display that offers HD+ resolution and 60Hz refresh rate. We’re not sure what processor runs the show, but it will be coupled with 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage. The phone will run Android 11 Go Edition operating system with FuntouchOS 11.1 skin on top.
The Vivo Y01 comes with a dual-rear camera setup with a primary 13-megapixel sensor, and a second 2-megapixel unit. At the front, the phone gets a 5-megapixel camera for selfies and videos.
The 5,000mAh battery on the device supports 10W charging speeds. It also gets features such as Bluetooth 5.0, a headphone jack, dual-SIM support, and a microUSB port for charging. For security, the phone features face unlock support.
