“The Vivo Y19 price in India is Rs 13,990 and specifications include a 5,000mAh battery, 6.53-inch display with a waterdrop notch, 4GB RAM, and 128GB storage”
Vivo Y19 was launched earlier this month in Thailand and just a few days back, we exclusively reported the handset’s price in India. Now, Vivo’s mid-range handset has launched in India finally through offline stores – just as we reported, the phone’s 4GB RAM + 128GB storage configuration has been priced by the company at Rs 13,990. Interestingly, the handset was launched with up to 6GB RAM in Thailand, but that variant hasn’t been made available in India as of now.
Vivo Y19 specifications
As for the specifications, Vivo Y19 ships with a rather large 6.53-inch full-HD+ display that offers a 1,080 x 2,340 pixels resolution and a taller-than-usual 19.5:9 aspect ratio. The display offers a 90.3 percent screen-to-body ratio to present an immersive experience while watching movies or music videos. To drive the performance, at the core of the handset lies an octa-core MediaTek’s Helio P65 SoC. The 4GB memory is coupled with 128GB built-in storage, which is further expandable up to 256GB via microSD card.
On the software side of things, the Vivo Y19 runs Android 9.0 Pie with FunTouchOS 2.0 UI out of the box and comes with Multi-Turbo and Game Space modes for better gaming performance. For security, there is a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor and face unlock feature.
Talking about cameras, the Vivo Y19 comes with a vertically-arranged triple camera setup that has a 16MP primary shooter, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle-lens and a 2MP depth sensor for portrait shots. For selfies and video calling, there is a 16MP AI-camera. To keep the lights on, there is a 5,000mAh battery with 18W fast-charging support.
