Vivo Y20 and Y20i have been launched in India and the smartphones will succeed the Vivo Y19 from last year. Both the Vivo Y20 series phones share similar specifications and design language, including a waterdrop notch at the front and a vertical triple-camera setup in a rectangular module at the back. There is a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for security and a unique gradient finish on both the handsets. Vivo Y20 and Y20i specifications include the Snapdragon 460 chipset, a 5,000mAh battery, and 64GB expandable storage.

Vivo Y20 and Y20i price in India and sale date
The Vivo Y20 India price is set at 12,990 and it comes with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage. The smartphone will be available in Obsidian Black and Dawn White colours and will go on sale from August 28th. The Vivo Y20i price is Rs 11,490 and it comes with 3GB RAM and 64GB storage. The phone will go on sale from September 3rd. Both the Vivo Y20-series phones will be available via retail stores, Vivo India e-store, and through online e-commerce platforms.
Vivo Y20 and Y20i specifications
Vivo Y20 flaunts a 6.51-inch HD+ Halo iView display with 1,600 x 720 pixels resolution and a waterdrop notch. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 460 SoC coupled with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage that is further expandable up to 256GB via a microSD card. It runs on Android 10 out of the box with the company’s Funtouch OS 10.5 custom skin on top. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi ac, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS/ GLONASS/ Beidou, micro-USB port, and a 3.5mm audio jack.
In terms of optics, the Vivo Y20 has a triple setup consisting of a 13MP (f/1.8) primary shooter, a 2MP depth sensor, and a 2MP Macro lens. On the front, it has an 8MP snapper for selfies and video chats. There is a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for security and a 5,000mAh battery with 18W charging support. It measures 164.41 × 76.32 × 8.41 mm and weighs 192.3 grams.
As for the Vivo Y20i specifications, it is equipped with similar specifications as the standard Y20, including Snapdragon 460 SoC, 13MP triple cameras, and 5,000mAh battery. The main difference is that the Vivo Y20i comes with 3GB RAM instead of 4GB and supports standard charging instead of 18W fast charging.
