Vivo Y20A has now joined the ever-expanding Y series of smartphones from the brand. It joins the Vivo Y20 and Vivo Y20i as a low-cost smartphone intended for the masses. For all intents and purposes, the Vivo Y20A is a downgrade over the Vivo Y20 as it comes with an older Qualcomm Snapdragon 439 chipset. This contradicts earlier leaks that told us that the smartphone would feature a MediaTek Helio P35 chipset. However, the Vivo Y20A specifications are largely similar to that of its siblings, with all three smartphones sharing an identical camera configuration, battery capacity, screen size, and design elements. Like all Vivo devices, the Y20A is being manufactured at the company’s Greater Noida facility.

Vivo Y20A Price in India
The Vivo Y20A price in India will be Rs 11,490 for 3GB + 64GB storage. There is only one configuration available at the moment. It comes in two colour options, namely Nebula Blue and Dawn White. The Vivo Y20A will be available for sale on Vivo’s website, major e-commerce platforms and offline retail channels starting January 2nd, 2021.
Vivo Y20A Specifications
As mentioned earlier, the Vivo Y20A sports a 6.5-inch IPS LCD panel with a resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels. There is a waterdrop-style notch at the front of the screen that houses the smartphone’s 8MP selfie camera. The Vivo Y20A has three rear cameras; a 13MP primary sensor, a 2MP macro lens, and a 2MP Bokeh camera. The Vivo Y20A also features a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. Vivo claims that it can unlock the phone in just 0.26s. It also comes with a 5,000mAh battery with 10W fast charge technology that can stream up to 17 hours of HD movies and allow for 10 hours of gaming.
