Vivo Y21e is the company’s upcoming mid-range offering in the Y-series. While we’re yet to learn the official launch date, 91mobiles has exclusively gathered the renders and key specifications of the phone, courtesy of industry insider Ishan Agarwal. This comes just days after the brand had introduced the Vivo Y33T in the country as a replacement to the Vivo Y33s. The Vivo Y21e comes with Snapdragon 680 chipset, a 13MP primary sensor, Android 12 OS, and 18W fast charging support. It has a traditional design with a waterdrop notch, side-mounted fingerprint sensor, and dual rear camera sensors.

Vivo Y21e design

Vivo Y21e has a centre-positioned waterdrop notch for the selfie snapper and a sizeable bottom bezel. The volume rocker and power button with a fingerprint sensor embedded in it are on the right spine. There is a rectangular module on the back that houses dual cameras and an LED flash. The phone can be seen in White and Blue colour options.

While the images don’t reveal, the USB Type-C port, speaker grille, and primary microphone could be on the bottom in addition to the 3.5mm audio jack.

Vivo Y21e is said to sport a 6.51-inch HD+ LCD display with a waterdrop notch and a sizeable bezel beneath the screen. It measures 164.2×76×8mm and weighs 182 grams. The phone is likely to run on Android 12 based Funtouch OS 12 custom out of the box and packs a 5,000mAh battery with 18W fast charging support. There is an 8MP snapper on the front with an f/1.8 aperture for selfies and video chats.

Moving to optics, the handset has dual cameras on the back, with a 13MP primary sensor with an f/2.2 aperture and a 2MP secondary lens with an f/2.4 aperture. It is said to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 SoC with 3GB RAM and 64GB storage, but we speculate there could be other options at launch.
