Vivo Y30 will be the company’s next smartphone to launch in India and it will arrive in the first week of June, 91mobiles has learnt from Vivo officials who did not wish to reveal their names. The Y-series smartphone went official in Malaysia earlier this month and it is an affordable mid-range smartphone with features like a punch-hole display and quad rear cameras. Vivo recently launched the V19 premium mid-range phone in the country with a Snapdragon 712 chipset and 48MP quad camera setup, priced at Rs 27,990. The upcoming Vivo Y30 is expected to fall under Rs 15,000 with specifications like the MediaTek Helio P35 chipset and HD+ display.
Vivo Y30 expected price in India
The Vivo Y30 price in Malaysia is MYR 899 (approx Rs 15,810) and it comes in a single configuration with 4GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. Given its specifications, we expected the smartphone to be priced more aggressively in India, so we expect the phone to fall well below Rs 15,000. An exact launch date is unknown at the moment, but we are told it will arrive in early June.
Vivo Y30 specifications
Vivo Y30 features a 6.47-inch Ultra-O HD+ (1560 x 720) display with a punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera. The smartphone is powered by the MediaTek Helio P35 chipset paired with 4GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. The device runs on Android 10 with Funtouch OS 10 on top. It measures 162.04 x 74.46 x 9.11mm and weighs 197 grams.
Vivo Y30 comes with a quad camera setup that includes a 13MP primary sensor, an 8MP wide-angle lens, and a couple of 2MP sensors. Up front, the smartphone gets an 8MP selfie camera housed in the punch-hole cutout. The Vivo Y30 houses a 5,000mAh battery, but it is unclear whether it supports fast charging or not. Connectivity options include dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS + GLONASS.
