Vivo Y30 budget offering is the latest offering in the company’s Y-series phones. The handset has a modern design with a punch-hole cutout, which it is calling ‘Ultra O Screen’ and quad rear cameras in a rectangular module. It has gradient design, like most other budget phones launched in recent times. Vivo Y30 key specifications include an HD+ display, MediaTek Helio processor paired with 4GB RAM, and 128GB expandable storage. It has a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor for security.

The Vivo Y30 is priced at MYR 899 (around Rs 15,810 approx.) for the lone 4GB + 128GB model. It will be available in Dazzle Blue and Moonstone White colours and will go on sale in Malaysia starting from May 9th, 2020.

The Vivo Y30 sports a 6.47-inch Ultra-O HD+ display with 1560 x 720 pixels resolution, 19.5:9 aspect ratio, and punch-hole cutout to house the selfie camera. It is powered by the MediaTek Helio P35 SoC coupled with IMG PowerVR GE8320 GPU, 4GB RAM, and 128GB internal storage that is further expandable up to 512GB. The handset boots Android 10 with Funtouch OS 10 custom skin on top. Connectivity features include dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS + GLONASS.
In terms of optics, the Vivo Y30 features a quad-camera setup on the back consisting of a 13MP primary shooter, an 8MP wide-angle lens, a 2MP depth sensor, and a 2MP sensor, likely to be a macro lens. On the front, there is an 8MP sensor for selfies and video chats. It has a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor and 3.5mm audio jack. A 5,000mAh battery with no fast-charging support fuels the phone. The Vivo Y30 measures 162.04 x 74.46 x 9.11mm and weighs 197 grams.
