Vivo Y52s has been launched in China as a new entrant in the Y-series and an affordable 5G offering from the brand. The phone comes with a waterdrop notch for the selfie camera, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for security, and a unique gradient design at the back. Vivo Y52s price in China is set at RMB 1,598 (around Rs 18,100) for the 6GB RAM and 128GB storage model and RMB 1,798 (approx Rs 20,300) for the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage variant. The phone is up for pre-orders through China’s JD.com and comes in Monet, Coral Sea, and Titanium Grey colour options. The Vivo Y52s goes on sale in China from December 12th. Vivo hasn’t announced the India launch of the smartphone yet.

The Vivo Y52s smartphone that has launched in China sports a 6.58-inch FHD+ IPS LCD display with 1,080 x 2,408 pixels resolution, 90Hz refresh rate and a waterdrop notch for the selfie camera. It is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 720 SoC paired with up to 8GB RAM and 128GB storage that is further expandable via a microSD card. It runs on Android 10-based Funtouch OS custom skin on top and has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for security. The phone measures 164.15 x 75.35 x 8.4mm and weighs 185.5 grams.
The newly-launched Vivo Y52s has a dual-camera setup at the back with a 48MP primary sensor and a 2MP portrait lens. There is an 8MP snapper on the front for selfies and video chats. A 5,000mAh battery with 18W charging support fuels the phone.
