VIVO Y81i specifications, design revealed in leaked official posters

“The VIVO Y81i is a budget smartphone with a display notch, face unlock and thin bezels on the sides, according to the posters”

The VIVO Y81i has been leaked in all its glory, thanks to seemingly official press posters. Apart from the design, the leaked posters also give away the detailed specifications of the VIVO Y81i. Buyers can expect the smartphone to be an entry-level handset that features a display with iPhone X-like notch on top and thin bezels. It comes with a single camera unit at the rear and the leaked images show off the phone in bright red colour.

As per the leak, the VIVO Y81i will come with a 6.22-inch HD+ FullView display that offers a maximum resolution of 720 x 1,520 pixels. Under the hood, VIVO is expected to bake in an MT6761 coupled to 2GB of RAM. On the storage front, the device is likely to come with 16GB of internal storage. The camera features on the VIVO includes a single 13-megapixel sensor at the rear and a 5-megapixel sensor on the front.

The VIVO Y81i will be backed by a 3260mAh battery and will run Android 8.1 Oreo based FunTouch 4.0 skin, the leaked posters show. Meanwhile, the VIVO Y81i will be available only in one configuration, 2GB RAM and 16GB storage. Other downside includes a lack of fingerprint sensor, though the leaked press image points at a Face Unlock Feature.

The VIVO Y81i is already up for preorders on a Malaysian e-commerce website and is listed at RM 599 (Rs 10,000). Its worth noting that the VIVO Y81i is a watered down version of the Y81. It is very likely that the phone will make it to the Indian market soon, especially since the company promptly launched the Y81 in the domestic market.
