“The new Vivo Y83 Pro price in India is Rs 14,990, down Rs 1,000 from its launch price”
The Vivo Y83 Pro price in India has been slashed by Rs 1,000 by the Chinese company for both offline and online stores. 91mobiles’ retail chain sources confirmed the official Vivo Y83 Pro price cut, which are effective in offline channels now and will be applicable in online stores soon. The Vivo Y83 Pro was launched in August and has a 6.22-inch display, dual rear cameras, 64GB of internal storage, and face unlock capabilities.
The Vivo Y83 Pro price in India at the time of launch was Rs 15,990 but has now been reduced to Rs 14,990. This makes the smartphone a little more competitive compared to take on the Redmi Note 5 Pro, especially since its successor — the Redmi Note 6 Pro — is on the way too. The price cut was separately announced by Mumbai-based retailer Mahesh Telecom as well. On Flipkart, the phone is still listed at Rs 15,990 however, so it is advisable to check with a retailer near you in case you are planning to buy it.
As for the specifications, Vivo Y83 Pro sports a 6.22-inch FullView Display 2.0 with a wide iPhone X-like notch to house the selfie camera and sensors. The phone is powered by the MediaTek Helio P22 processor and runs Android 8.1 Oreo-based FunTouch OS 4.0 software. It has a dual primary camera setup at the back, comprising a 13-megapixel main sensor and a 2-megapixel secondary snapper. For selfies and video calling, there’s an 8-megapixel shooter. Talking about the other specs, the Vivo Y83 Pro is packed with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of native storage, which can be further expanded via a microSD card. Fueling the handset is a 3,260mAh battery.
