Vivo has been teasing the launch of its latest smartphone, dubbed the Vivo Z1 Pro, in India for a while. Today, the company has finally launched the handset in the country. The phone has arrived as the Chinese tech giant’s first phone in India to feature a punch-hole display as well as a Snapdragon 712 processor, which was unveiled in February. Notably, the Vivo Z1 Pro is the world’s second smartphone after the Xiaomi Mi 9 SE to utilise Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 712 processor. As teased earlier, the Vivo Z1 Pro is a mid-range offering with an impressive selfie camera, a triple-lens setup at the rear, and a massive battery.
Vivo Z1 Pro price in India
The Vivo Z1 Pro’s price in India starts at Rs 14,990 for the 4GB / 64GB variant. The phone’s 6GB / 64GB and 6GB / 128GB variants will set you back by Rs 16,990 and Rs 17,990 respectively. The smartphone will be available on Flipkart and the brand’s e-store starting July 11th. As part of the launch offer, the brand will be offering a discount of Rs 750 on the purchases made via ICICI bank cards. There also are benefits worth Rs 6,000 for Jio users.
Vivo Z1 Pro specifications
The Vivo Z1 Pro features an all-screen fascia with a hole on the top-left corner of the display, which houses the selfie shooter. At the rear, the smartphone has a fingerprint sensor in the middle and a vertically-aligned triple camera setup at the top-left side. The handset offers a 6.53-inch display with a resolution of 1,080 x 2,340 pixels, and boots Funtouch OS 9 based on Android Pie. The phone also gets Multi Turbo feature, which is a combination of Center Turbo, AI Turbo, Net Turbo, Cooling Turbo, Game Turbo, and ART+ Turbo. The Snapdragon 712 SoC onboard is paired with 4GB / 6GB of RAM and 64GB / 128GB of storage. The handset comes with WideVine L1 certificate, which allows users to watch online streaming content in HD resolution.
In the imaging department, there’s a 16MP f/1.78 primary camera at the back, aided by an 8MP f/2.2 secondary shooter and a 2MP f/2.4 third sensor. For selfies, there’s a 32MP snapper with an aperture of f/2.0. The connectivity options include 4G LTE, dual-SIM slots, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, and A-GPS. Lastly, the smartphone is powered by a beefy 5,000mAh battery, which supports 18W Dual Engine fast-charging technology.
