The Vivo Z1x smartphone is getting a new variant in India. 91mobiles, via retail sources, has gotten hold of the promotional poster that reveals that Vivo is gearing up to launch the 8GB RAM option of the phone in the country. The variant will be slightly better and powerful than the already available Vivo Z1x’s 6GB RAM option. While there is no word on the new RAM variant’s India price and availability yet, the source added that the Vivo Z1x will be available in the offline market as well. This is interesting since Vivo launched its Z series lineup as an online exclusive.
Vivo Z1x price in India, specifications
The Vivo Z1x, launched in India last month, is the brand’s latest Z series smartphone. The handset’s 6GB RAM option retails at Rs 16,990. This is for the base 64GB storage variant. The 128GB storage option will set you back to Rs 18,990. The phone has been announced in two hues: Fusion Blue and Phantom Purple colours, with gradient finish.
As for the specifications, Vivo Z1x comes pre-loaded with Android 9 Pie-based FunTouch OS 9 to take care of the software side of things. The handset sports a 6.38-inch Super AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution, Halo notch, and a “Flash” in-display fingerprint scanner. The scanner can unlock the device in just 0.48 seconds, according to the company. At the core of the handset lies Qualcomm Snapdragon 712 octa-core processor, coupled with 6GB RAM and up to 128GB user-expandable storage.
For photography, the Z1x sports triple rear cameras, which comprises of 48-megapixel Sony IMX586 primary sensor. This is paired with an 8-megapixel AI ultra-wide-angle lens and 2-megapixel depth-sensing unit for portrait shots. There is a 32-megapixel shooter on the front for selfies and video calling. A 4,500mAh battery with 22.5W fast charging runs the entire package.
