Vivo Z1X mid-range smartphone is tipped to launch in India in September. The handset is also confirmed to be slightly costlier than the Z1 Pro (review) that was launched in July at Rs 14,990. The Vivo Z1X is also tipped to come with an in-display fingerprint sensor and feature an AMOLED display. Now, the company mentioned that the Z1X smartphone will be available exclusively on Flipkart and will be a “complete package.” Vivo says that smartphone is being designed for consumers wanting superior performance and gaming experience.
Separately, Vivo, citing a Gfk Q2 report, mentioned that it recently registered an overall market share of 21.2 percent by value in its overall sales in the country. Vivo India operations will be completing five years this year, and the company vouches to offer more value for money products backed by an aggressive marketing strategy. As for the Z1X, no other details have been revealed just yet, but as we inch closer to the launch, we expect more features to be revealed.
As for the Vivo Z1 Pro, it ships with a Snapdragon 712 SoC with Adreno 616 GPU and flaunts a 6.53-inch Full HD+ display. The handset rocks triple rear cameras consisting of a 16MP primary sensor, an 8MP secondary shooter, and a 2MP depth unit for portrait shots. There is a 32MP snapper on the front for selfies and video chats. There is a dedicated Google Assistant button on the left spine. A 5,000mAh battery with 18W fast-charging support fuels the phone.
