Vivo Z1x smartphone, the second-iteration of Vivo’s online exclusive Z-series, has been introduced in India. The new Vivo Z1x packs 48-megapixel main sensor and in-display fingerprint scanner, which are popular features these days. The core specs of the handset including triple rear cameras, chipset, and front camera, meanwhile, remain the same as the Vivo Z1 Pro. The latter was launched in India back in July. The Vivo Z1x also features a beefy battery, although it’s smaller than in its sibling, and 22.5W Vivo FlashCharging. The tech is rated to add three hours of talk time to the handset with just five minutes of charge.
Vivo Z1x Pro price, availability
The Vivo Z1x price in India starts at Rs 16,990 for the 6GB RAM + 64GB variant and the 6GB RAM + 128GB variant will be made available with a price tag of Rs 18,990. The sale for the handsets starts from September 13th at 12 pm on Flipkart and the brand’s website. The phone will be made available in Fusion Blue and Phantom Purple colours. As part of the launch offer, the HDFC card owners will be able to get Rs 1,250 off on purchase of the handset and the brand is offering benefits worth Rs 6,000 for Reliance Jio users.
Vivo Z1x specifications
Coming to the specifications, the Vivo Z1x sports 6.38-inch Super AMOLED display with full-HD+ resolution and a small cut-out up top, which has been marketed by Vivo as Halo notch. The panel also bears a “Flash” in-display fingerprint scanner that can unlock the device in just 0.48 seconds, according to the company. Under the hood, the Z1x rocks 10nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 712 octa-core SoC, coupled with 6GB RAM and up to 128GB user-expandable storage.
The triple rear cameras of the handset rocks 48-megapixel Sony IMX586 primary sensor paired with 8-megapixel AI ultra-wide-angle lens and 2-megapixel depth-sensing unit for portrait shots. For selfies and video calling, there is a 32-megapixel shooter on the front. The phone boots Android 9 Pie-based FunTouchOS out of the box to take care of the software side of things. A 4,500mAh battery with 22.5W fast charging rounding off the specs sheet of the Vivo Z1x.
