“The Vivo Z1x is slated to launch on September 6th in India”
The Vivo Z1x smartphone’s Flipkart listing has gone live ahead of its launch on September 6th in India. The listing reveals details about the upcoming handset that were unknown or only a rumour until now. The Vivo Z1x will employ Qualcomm’s latest mid-range Snapdragon 712 mobile platform under the hood. It’s the same chipset that rocks Vivo Z1 Pro smartphone, which was introduced back in July. Apart from this, the Vivo Z1x will pack 48-megapixel Sony IMX586 primary sensor paired with 8-megapixel AI ultra-wide-angle lens and 2-megapixel depth-sensing unit for portrait shots on the triple camera setup at the back. The phone’s front camera will get 32-megapixel shooter with AI beauty for selfies and video calling.
The 4,500mAh battery cell has now been confirmed to fuel the Vivo Z1x smartphone. The phone will be backed by 22.5W Vivo FlashCharging, which according to the company, will add three hours of talk time in just five minutes. Like its predecessor, the Z1x will also sport AMOLED panel with Halo-notch and an in-display fingerprint scanner, which is said to slightly faster this time. The technology is said to unlock the handset is just 0.38 seconds. Lastly, the Vivo Z1x will come in two colours, with a glass layer and gradient finish.
The phone will most likely run Android 9 Pie-based FunTouch 9 OS out of the box and offer the same standard connectivity options as other smartphones out there. The handset will be available for sale exclusively on the e-commerce platform Flipkart in India. The thing that remains to be seen is the Vivo Z1x screen size and price in India. However, since the launch of the phone is now just around the corner, we don’t have to wait for long.
