Vivo Z5X official renders reveal punch-hole design and triple rear camera setup

“The Vivo Z5X has a hole-punch display, 5000mAh battery, and triple cameras”

The Vivo Z5X launches today but the company has already gone ahead and posted press renders of the handset on its official Weibo handle early morning. The official renders revealing colour variants of the handset as well as the detailed design. There have been other official images and teasers as well that were released previously in the last few days, along with teased features. Now we know that the Vivo Z5x will be available in Shadow Black, Aurora, and Polar Nightfall colour options.

As for the key highlights, Vivo has teased the handset to feature a massive 5,000mAh battery, similar to that of Vivo Y17 in India. And it will also have support for 18W fast charging. At the heart of the handset will be the Snapdragon 710 SoC which has appeared on AnTuTu benchmark yesterday. The details of the triple camera setup are still not available to us right now but we won’t have to wait long for them. The AMOLED display is 6.5-inch in size and marks the first time the punch-hole design is used on a Vivo device. That is also what separates it from the Vivo Y17.

As for other new elements in the design, it seems Vivo will use a dedicated button for Jovi assistant button on the left side, similar to what we have seen on flagship Samsung phones. And there’s the visible capacitive fingerprint reader on the back. There are supposed to be two variants of the handset, one with 6GB and the other with 8GB of RAM. The prices still remain a mystery but we’ll have to wait for that till the mid-ranger launches today in China.
