Vodafone has announced a new recharge of Rs 1,999 for prepaid subscribers in India. The new long-term Vodafone recharge offers a year-long validity as well as daily data benefit, unlimited calls, and SMS services to users. This new pack comes days after the telco announced Rs 1,699 recharge that offers 1GB data along with voice calling and text messages to its prepaid users.
Under the new Rs 1,999 recharge, Vodafone is offering a total of 547.5GB 4G data (1.5GB/ day), unlimited calls (STD/ local/ roaming) to any network across the country, and 100 SMS messages per day for 365 days. However, this new Vodafone recharge is valid in Kerala circle only for now and is mentioned on the official website. The other circles across the country are expected to get it in the next few days.
Comparing the Rs 1,999 Vodafone recharge with its competitors — BSNL has the Rs 1,999 prepaid pack that offers 2GB data for the next one year to its subscribers. Jio, on the other hand, has Rs 1,699 prepaid recharge with 365-day validity and 1.5GB data per day, unlimited voice call benefits, and Jio’s complementary services such as Live TV, music streaming apps, and more. Lastly, Airtel offers its long-term prepaid pack for Rs 1,699 with unlimited voice calls, meagre 1GB data per day, as well as complementary live TV and music streaming services.
