“The Vodafone cashback offer subscribers with multiple vouchers of Rs 50 each that can be redeemed while purchasing a pack later on”
Vodafone is following in the footsteps of rivals Jio and Airtel in offering 100 percent cashback to subscribers. This cashback is limited to prepaid users only and can be availed using the MyVodafone app. Jio was the one to start this trend, offering customers cashback on all popular recharges in the form of vouchers that can be redeemed while buying another recharge later. Airtel had followed suit afterwards, and the latest move makes Vodafone the third to do it in the country.
The new Vodafone cashback offer provides multiple vouchers of Rs 50 each to those who purchase the Rs 399, Rs 458 and Rs 509 recharges. Subscribers need to purchase the recharge pack from the MyVodafone app and the vouchers are attached to the account to be used at a later date. Buying the Rs 399, Rs 458, and Rs 509 Vodafone recharge will give users eight, nine, and 10 vouchers of Rs 50 each. As mentioned above, the vouchers can redeemed when the customer buys a recharge pack in the future and will be automatically applied in the purchase process to deduct the final price by Rs 50. These vouchers cannot be use elsewhere.
The Rs 399, Rs 458, and Rs 509 packs have validity of 70 days, 84 days, and 90 days, respectively. All three recharges provide users with 1.4GB data per day, bundled local and STD calls, free calls while roaming and 100 SMSes per day. Along with this, buyers get access to the Vodafone Play video streaming app.
According to a report by TelecomTalk, this offer is applicable in most circles but not all. It claims the cashback offer will not be provided in the Chennai circle on the Rs 509 pack, while the Rs 409 recharge (which has the same benefits as the Rs 399 pack) will not provide users with any cashback in Bihar & Jharkhand circle. As for Himachal Pradesh circle, the Rs 399 and Rs 509 recharges will not come with the cashback offer.
