The band features a slim 8.9mm aluminium alloy body with silicone straps in various colours. I've been using the pink one, and it looks quite nice in person. The band feels incredibly comfortable, even for overnight sleep tracking.
Up front, you get a 1.47-inch AMOLED display with slightly curved edges. Colours look rich and punchy, and it stays readable even in direct sunlight.
Pairing is quick and easy via the Huawei Health app. It runs on Harmony OS 5.0 and packs in plenty of useful health tools like TruSleep, SpO2 monitoring, stress tracking, and heart rate variability for sleep apnea insights.
The UI is fairly easy to get the hang of. Although the narrow screen does make some watch faces feel a bit cramped. The bright colours, however, stand out well in darker environments.
Huawei claims up to 14 days of battery life from the 180mAh cell. I haven't had to charge it once in my three days of testing, which is promising. The device uses a proprietary charger to juice up.
