OPPO F25 Pro review in 10 points

design

Despite having a plastic build, the build quality of the OPPO F25 Pro is appealing. The 7.5mm thickness and 177 grams weight make it a sleek and lightweight device and improve the overall in-hand feel. Also, the IP65 rating for dust and water resistance is added bonus as other devices in this segment only offer IP54 rating.

display

The OPPO F25 Pro features a 6.7-inch FHD+ OLED display with 120Hz refresh rate. It has slim bezels and the brightness under sunlight is decent which ensure you won't face any legibility issues. And, thanks to the OLED display, the colours and contrast are vibrant and streaming videos on OTT platforms is an enjoyable experince.

rear camera

The OPPO F25 Pro has a 64MP+8MP+2MP rear camera setup. The main camera captures images with warmer tones and prominent shadows due to which the images look more dramatic. Due to this, photos are more social media ready which eliminates the need of editing later.

front camera

The OPPO F25 Pro features a 32MP front camera. It captures photos with balanced colours and natural skin tones. In portrait mode, the photos have a rich bokeh effect and the edge detection is almost perfect.

performance

The OPPO F25 Pro is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 7050 SoC. The handset scores well in benchmarks and offers  reliable performer in day-to-day tasks as well. While the gaming experience is overall good, we experienced a few occasional stutters.

software

The OPPO F25 Pro runs on ColorOS 14 based on Android 14. ColorOS offers several useful features like AI powered Smart Touch, Auto-Pixelate, etc. However, the UI feels cluttered due to a lot of pre-installed apps and the animations aren't good either.

battery

The OPPO F25 Pro houses a 5,000mAh battery despite its sleek and light-weight formfactor. The handset scores around 19 hours in the PC Mark battery test and doesn't disappoint in real-world usage either. You can expect a full day battery life with moderate usgae.

charging

verdict

The OPPO F25 Pro is a good choice if you're looking for a sleek and lightweight smartphone that offers decent performance, reliable cameras, decent battery life and fast charging speeds. The software is not the best and the design might not be everyone's cup of tea. However, if the pro's outweigh the con's, the OPPO F25 Pro is a good device at Rs 23,999.
