POCO X6 Pro Review in 10 Points

design

The POCO X6 Pro in the "Racing Grey" variant has a glastick back which attracts a lot of smudges and fingerprints. The camera island is in black due to which the back has a clean dual tone finish. POCO also provides a high-quality TPU case with the device which helps prevents fingerprints and offers protection.

Rear Cameras

Front Cameras

The POCO X6 Pro flaunts a 16MP front camera. The camera captures pleasing selfies but tends to smooth out facial details.

Performance

The POCO X6 Pro is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 8300 SoC. You can efficiently multitask and everything runs smoothly. It handles BGMI with maximum graphics and frame rate settings, showing no hiccups or frame-drop issues during intense gameplay. Although the device warms up slightly with extended use.

Software

In terms of software, the POCO X6 Pro runs Xiaomi HyperOS out of the box based on Android 14. The software is somewhat bloated but it can be uninstalled. There are also some new features. Additionally POCO has pledged up to three years of major software updates and four years of security updates for the X6 series.

Battery

The POCO X6 Pro comes with a 5,000mAh battery. The battery is sufficient to last a full day of usage, even with gaming. On the PC Mark battery test, the POCO X6 Pro achieved a score of 12 hours and 25 minutes.

Charging

The POCO X6 Pro supports 67W charging. The device takes around 40-45 minutes to go from 0 to 100 percent.

Verdict

The POCO X6 Pro is a standout gaming-focused mid-range smartphone. The display is top-notch and the software is feature rich. The charging speed is also impressive. While it falls behind due to bloated software and underwhelming camera, the X6 Pro is a compelling choice at its starting price of Rs 26,999.
