Realme 10 Pro 5G Review in 10 Points

Realme has used a boxy, rectangular slab approach with the 10 Pro. The edges are sharp with no curvature of any kind, making it slightly hard to grip the phone.

1. Design

The display panel is a 6.7-inch IPS LCD with FHD+ resolution and a refresh rate of 120Hz. It has the slimmest bezels of 1mm on three sides. However, the chin does not replicate the thinness.

2. Display

The phone features a dual camera setup with an 108MP Samsung HM6 sensor and 2MP depth sensor. The colours are replicated well and there's plenty of dynamic range to play around with. Low-light shots are not as crisp as expected.

3. Rear Camera

The selfie camera is a standard 16MP lens that can take pleasing snaps, albeit slightly over-processed and not matching real skin tones.

4. Front Camera

Powering the Realme 10 Pro is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 SoC, which can be considered a veritable performance workhorse. It is further paired with up to 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.2 storage.

5. Hardware

RealmeUI 4.0, based on Android 13, is running on the device, making it the first Realme phone to run the latest Android version out of the box. The interface is not exactly clean, with a ton of Realme apps populating the home screen and app drawer. Other than that, RealmeUI 4.0 is intuitive, customisable and relatively easy to use.

6. software

The 5,000mAh cell inside the Realme 10 Pro is likely to last you easily over a day with moderate usage involving some light social media browsing, watching content on YouTube or OTT platforms, and some amount of gaming.

7. Battery

The phone supports a rather slow 33W charging that takes close to two hours to fully charge.

8. Charging Speed

The side-mounted fingerprint scanner works as well as expected. The dual-speaker system is loud enough to be enjoyed in a small room without any ambient noise. The phone supports 5G services.

9. Extra features

The Realme 10 Pro, for its price, offers an exceptionally large viewing area with its razor-thin bezels. While not in the league of AMOLED panels, the LCD display on the device will largely provide the same experience visually for the average consumer. The device does not lag behind in performance or battery life.
