design

Most Realme smartphones in this segment share a similar design and so is the case for the Realme Narzo N65 5G. The back panel has the feather stroke texture and a circular camera module.

display

The Realme Narzo N65 5G features a 6.67-inch HD+ IPS display. It is one of the few devices that offer 120Hz refresh rate in the segment. While the peak brightness of 625 nits is good enough for most scenarios, it might cause legibility issues under direct sunlight.

rear camera

The Realme Narzo N65 5G boasts a 50MP+8MP dual camera setup. The photos captured look good in daylight and have slightly boosted colours. They can also appear a little overexposed if you've enabled the HDR mode.

front camera

At the front, the Realme Narzo N65 5G houses an 8MP camera for selfies and video calling. It captures appealing photos in daylight but the same cannot be said for selfies captured in low-light.

performance

The Realme Narzo N65 5G draws power from the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 SoC. The benchmark scores are on par with the competition and we didn't experience any issues with daily usage. The phone can also run demanding games albeit at lower settings.

software

The Realme Narzo N65 5G runs on Realme UI 5.0 based on Android 14 that comes with several features. There are some pre-installed apps that can be easily uninstalled. Moreover, the company has promised 2 years of OS updates and 3 years of security patches.

battery

The Realme Narzo N65 5G is equipped with a 5,000mAh battery that lasts for more than 17 hours in the PC Mark battery test which is impressive. The device lasts for an entire day of moderate usage.

charging

While the battery backup of the Realme Narzo N65 5G is really good, the 15W charging speed is nothing to write home about. It takes 2 hours 30 minutes to charge the device from 20% to 100%.

verdict

The Realme Narzo N65 5G starts at Rs 11,499 and is worth considering as it offers commendable performance, good daylight cameras, 120Hz refresh rate and a reliable battery life.
