Samsung Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra & Tab S11 first impressions
Intro
Samsung is one of the first names that comes to mind when one is out looking for a premium tablet, and the brand has just expanded its lineup by adding the Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra & Tab S11 to the portfolio.
Design
The Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra is massive, thanks to its 14.6-inch screen. At the back is a dual camera setup, while quad speakers are placed on the sides, promising an immersive audio experience. The bundled S Pen is a key highlight, attaching magnetically to the top for juicing up. Both models carry IP68 rating too.

The Tab S11 is more handy, featuring an 11-inch display. Both slates are very slim at under 5.5mm, and lightweight too, weighing 695g & 470g respectively. The smaller slate also features quad speakers, though there's only a single camera at the rear. The front cameras are 12MP on both models.
Performance and Battery
The performance on both tablets is driven by the 3nm Mediatek Dimensity 9400+ SoC. The S11 Ultra features up to 16GB RAM and 1TB storage, while the smaller slate has 12GB RAM & up to 512GB storage. Battery capacities are 11,600mAh & 8,400mAh respectively, supporting 45W charging.
Display
The 14.6-inch display on the Tab S11 Ultra, & the 11-inch panel on the S11 are both Dynamic AMOLED 2X screens, with 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10+ support & 1600 nits brightness. Samsung bundles an S Pen with the tablets, thereby enhancing productivity & creativity-related use cases.
Software
Running One UI 8 with Android 16, both tablets come with signature Samsung features like DeX. The platform offers a plethora of options for multitasking, and the large screens seem ideal for running multiple apps together.
AI features
The large screen real estate is also ideal for AI tasks, and as per Samsung, the usage experience of AI features like text summaries, Note Assist, etc should work better on tablets as compared to smartphones. Needless to add, the tablets come with the full range of Galaxy AI features.
to CONCLUDE
The Galaxy Tab S11 starts at Rs 80,999 for the Wi-Fi variant and Rs 93,999 for the 5G model. The Ultra model with Wi-Fi has a starting price of Rs 1,10,999, and Rs 1,24,999 for the 5G variant. That's serious money, but both slates do pack some serious grunt. Watch out for our review, coming soon.
