Price & Unboxing
The TEMPT Joos 5K Magnetic Powerbank is listed at Rs 1,699 at the time of writing. It comes in a compact box that also includes some documenation apart from the device itself. A small Type-C to Type-C cable is included in the box, which is a nice touch.
Design
Just 9.7mm thick, the Joos Mag powerbank comes in a compact, fire-retardent metal body. At the bottom is a Type-C port that can double up for both output & input, and 5 tiny LEDs to indicate battery status. On the right is a power button.
Features
Packing a 5,000mAh battery, the TEMPT Joos powerbank can charge phones at up to 15W speeds wirelessly, and 22.5W with a cable. You can even charge two devices at once. The device offers support for both PD and PPS charging protocols.

Usage
The sturdy metal build, the slim body, and the compact, lightweight design, all contribute to convenient usage. The Joos Mag 5K is deal not just for travel, but for daily commutes as well. When it's attached to an iPhone, the conjoined pair doesn't get too thick or unwieldy, and you can push the duo into a jeans pocket too if you want.
Performance
Charging speeds are pretty fast. I tried the TEMPT Joos Mag 5K to charge an iPhone 16 wirelessly, and the powerbank impressed with its strong magnetic connection & fast charging. The iPhone 60 charged from 0 to 20% in about 25 minutes, and touched 50% in a little over an hour. The powerbank ran out of charge after a couple of hours or so, charging the iPhone 16 up to 76%. The Joos Mag itself charges fully in about 2 hours.
Verdict
The TEMP Joos Mag 5K Magnetic Powerbank doesn't come cheap, and will be yours for Rs 1,699. For your money though, you get a sleek, handy companion that's easy to carry around and can help keep battery anxiety away. Worth considering not just for iPhone users but those who use other wireless charging capable phones too.
