France-based smart device maker Withings has expanded its range of smartwatches with the launch of the Steel HR Sapphire Signature. The brand’s latest offering sports a minimalistic design and gets a sapphire glass for improved durability. The company says that the new smartwatch offers all the features of the Steel HR in an extra durable design. Just like the Steel HR, the new wearable also sports multiple fitness tracking features.

The Withings Steel HR Sapphire Signature smartwatch’s casing is made from stainless steel. The wearable gets chrome accents and leather watch straps. The device is also water resistant for up to 50 metres. As for the fitness tracking features, the smartwatch offers a heart rate monitor, activity tracking, special swim profiles, and sleep monitoring. The device is capable of tracking distance covered and calories burned.

Talking about the other features, the Steel HR Sapphire Signature is touted to deliver up to 25 days of usage with normal use and five days in work out mode on a single charge. The wearable can be paired with iOS and Android devices via Bluetooth.

The Steel HR Sapphire Signature smartwatch comes in two sizes – 36mm and 40mm. The 36mm dial variant is being offered in Blue/Silver and White/Rose Gold colours, while the 40mm model is available in a single Black/Slate Grey hue. All the models have been priced at $299.95 (~Rs 21,100) and can be purchased from the brand’s website.
